भूपू उपाध्यक्ष डा. हेमराज शर्मासँग भेटघाट

गैर–आवासीय नेपाली संघ (NRNA) हङकङले हालै भूपू उपाध्यक्ष डा. हेमराज शर्मासँग भेटघाट सम्पन्न गरेको छ। यस भेटघाटमा संघको सदस्यता प्रक्रिया, पारदर्शिता, संस्थागत सुधार तथा नयाँ प्रणालीबारे विस्तृत छलफल गरिएको थियो।

भेटघाटमा हङकङको नयाँ कानूनी प्रावधानअनुसार पुरानो सदस्यता लिन नेपाली समुदायलाई असहज भएको जानकारी गराइयो। साथै, सन् २००३ मा स्थापना भएको संघको गतिविधि अपारदर्शी भएको, आर्थिक पक्षमा विश्वासनीयता नपाइएको, र गुटबन्दी तथा पदको लोपुताबारे चिन्ता व्यक्त गरियो।

संघलाई सुदृढ बनाउन केन्द्रले सन् २०२० मा ल्याएको Beyond 2020 अवधारणा अनुसार हङकङ स्थित गैर-आवासीय नेपाली संघलाई लिमिटेड कम्पनीमा रूपान्तरण गरिएको छ। यसअनुसार आर्थिक पक्ष हङकङ सरकारबाट अडिट हुने व्यवस्था गरिएको छ, जसले पारदर्शिता र विश्वासनीयता बढाउने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।

संघले नयाँ सदस्यता प्रक्रिया सुरु गरेको छ र आधिकारिक वेबपेज www.nrnahk.org मार्फत जानकारी उपलब्ध गराएको छ।

गैर–आवासीय नेपाली संघ हङकङले यस भेटघाटलाई संस्थागत सुधार, पारदर्शिता र समुदायलाई सहज सदस्यता प्रणाली उपलब्ध गराउने दिशामा महत्वपूर्ण कदमका रूपमा लिएको छ।

NRNA Hong Kong Holds Meeting with Former Vice President Dr. Hemraj Sharma

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Hong Kong recently held a meeting with former Vice President Dr. Hemraj Sharma to discuss membership procedures, transparency, institutional reforms, and the introduction of new systems.

During the meeting, concerns were raised regarding the difficulties faced by the Nepali community in renewing memberships under Hong Kong’s new legal provisions. Participants highlighted long-standing issues within the association, including lack of transparency in activities since its establishment in 2003, questions over financial credibility, and worries about factionalism and misuse of positions.

To strengthen the organization, NRNA Hong Kong has been transformed into a limited company in line with the “Beyond 2020” concept introduced by the central body in 2020. Under this framework, financial matters will be audited by the Hong Kong government, a move expected to enhance transparency and trust.

The association has also launched a new membership process, with details available on its official website, www.nrnahk.org.

NRNA Hong Kong described the meeting as a significant step toward institutional reform, greater transparency, and the creation of a more accessible membership system for the community.
